Weird, I rented that series out of nostalgia probably some time in January. I guess we were on the same wavelength, creepy, its almost like we're family or something. :)

The "bonus" episodes of Cleopatra 2929 and Sliders on the final disc really drove home how good Earth 2 was at the time.

Okay, so now I'm going to go on a weird tangent, but it was odd seeing Terry O'Quinn who now plays John Locke on Lost. When I started watching Lost I knew I'd seen that guy somewhere but never really looked into it, so stumbling across him on Earth 2 was fun. Further tangent, the actor Jeremy Davies on this season of Lost plays a very similar character to the one he played in the movie Solaris starring George Clooney, sort of the 'spacey physicist' type. Solaris is a fine film, if you haven't seen it, btw, and is based on a Stanislaw Lem novel, also good, and is a remake of a 70's flick that I have yet to rent. There you go.

We like Earth 2. It's another one of those good series that Fox screwed up through scheduling or whatever, then cancelled it after only one season, right when the show's potential was becoming clear.

Tim Curry plays a thoroughly despicable character. Delightful.

scary. It seems wrong to me that all our furnaces depend on the power being on and in many cases (mine included) batteries in thermostats.

how was Earth 2?
